This map focuses on destination-based natural landmarks: waterfalls, gorges, dams and reservoirs, caves, protected beaches, sea caves, coastal rock formations, scenic bays, salt lakes, mountain formations, and capes/islets. It includes all five official Troodos Geopark waterfalls plus other established island falls, and the main scenic reservoirs from the Water Development Department catalogue — not every one of Cyprus’s 100+ smaller dams. Picnic sites, visitor centres, and forest recreation facilities are mapped separately on the Forest Recreation map. Marker positions are based on official tourism, forestry, geopark, Water Development Department, biodiversity, and public map references where available, with approximate visitor-access markers for less standardized locations. Always check current access, weather, and site conditions before visiting. Northern-side entries are included solely for geographic completeness and are presented as nature references, without implying any political position.
